TORONTO · BI ANALYST · CARTOONIST ·
hello there
Apurv
Toronto, 2026

I'm Apurv.
I draw
superheroes, travel plans, hero art, dashboards, data stories, mostly with
reverence.

By day a BI analyst in Toronto. By every other hour, a cartoonist drawing capes, masks and animated icons with a chronic case of "I'll just draw one more."

before we begin

The person behind the dashboards.

Born in Nagpur, grew up in Oman, built a career in Dubai, and somehow ended up drawing superheroes in Toronto. I'm a data analyst who genuinely loves his job and a cartoonist who can't stop drawing capes.

By day I build dashboards that help travel businesses make better decisions. By night (and honestly most weekends) I draw — mostly superheroes, occasionally friends, sometimes both at once.

I love gothic architecture and will happily get lost in a dark medieval city for hours. I take trivia nights perhaps too seriously. I have strong opinions about Pixar (Wall-E is a masterpiece, this is not up for debate). I watch a lot of films and have particularly soft spots for animated movies and anything with a good score. And I maintain that really great chicken tenders are one of life's underrated pleasures. (Highly recommend Chen Chen Nashville Chicken at The Well, Toronto.)

a few things I love —
🏰 Gothic architecture & dark city wandering
🎬 Movies — especially animated & Pixar
🧠 Trivia nights (I come to win)
🎮 Video games — story-heavy, usually

The hero gallery.

Mostly superheroes, superheroines and cartoon characters: the canon I grew up on, redrawn with patience and the occasional new colour scheme.
